Minister of Information Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi received the school union delegation.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 12: Minister of Information Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi welcomed a delegation from the Kuwait School Sports Federation and Higher Education, led by Federation President Faisal Al-Maqseed. The delegation included Vice President Walid Ayesh Al-Salameen, Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed Al-Hamdan, and Dr. Mutab Al-Mutairi, the General Supervisor of Physical Education for Boys.

Faisal Al-Maqseed expressed gratitude for Minister Al-Mutairi's unwavering media support for the Federation's activities and events in the coming period. He highlighted the Minister's deep belief in the vital role played by the Federation's Board of Directors and working committees. Al-Maqseed noted that Minister Al-Mutairi has been a consistent supporter of the Federation since the launch of its strategy, "Our Talents in Our Schools 2021-2026," during his tenure as Minister of Youth.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Mutairi was briefed on the positive progress made over the past three years in line with the strategy’s timeline. Al-Maqseed shared that the Federation has successfully participated in various international events, including the Arab Championship for School Sports and Physical Education in Cairo and the World University Championship hosted by China last year. The Federation is also preparing to host the Arab School Championship in February 2025, which will be held in Kuwait.

Al-Maqseed further explained that the delegation carefully considered Minister Al-Mutairi’s feedback and guidance, which will be incorporated into their plans for the upcoming season. He emphasized that the Federation's goals are being realized, particularly in supporting local clubs and unions by identifying and nurturing talent through the Federation's technical and administrative teams.
