Minister of Commerce introduces minced meat to ration card

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa Al-Ajeel, has announced a new decision to include minced meat in the ration card offerings at a reduced price without subsidy.

This initiative follows the approval of the Subsidized and Reduced Materials Committee, which consists of the General Authority for Food and Nutrition, along with several other relevant organizations.

The addition of minced meat aims to diversify the range of products available to consumers on the ration card. The implementation of this decision is set to commence on November 1, 2024.
