KUWAIT, Oct 14:  Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, received a detailed presentation from Fast Telecommunications Company on the latest developments of the (Platform 51) application. The presentation highlighted the platform's features and the notable results achieved during the first phase of the strategic plan.

The Ministry of Information stated in a press release on Sunday that the presentation took place in the presence of Ooredoo Kuwait CEO, Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, who owns Fast Telecommunications Company, as well as the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, and several other leaders from both sides.

The presentation emphasized the platform's advanced technology, noting that it garnered over 10 million views in just five months, showcasing its remarkable success and rapid increase in user registration and engagement.

The statement also mentioned that the digital development plan was reviewed, with the platform being successfully optimized to function efficiently across all smart devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and televisions, within a short time frame.

The ministry pointed out that the platform has demonstrated stability and technological robustness, offering smooth and continuous services. This solidifies its status as a leading digital media project in Kuwait.

Additionally, the second phase of the strategy, along with its timeline, was discussed. This phase aims to bring about a significant transformation in Kuwait's media landscape by focusing on innovation and improving the quality of services provided.

The (Platform 51), launched by the Ministry of Information on May 12 in collaboration with Fast Telecom, is a comprehensive digital platform that breaks away from traditional methods, offering users easy access to TV and radio content. It also allows for viewing archival works and live broadcasts of all Kuwait TV channels and radio stations.
