Interior Minister orders intensified traffic campaigns to combat law violations.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah emphasized the need for heightened traffic police presence on vital roads and intersections across Kuwait. This directive aims to firmly address any law violations and practices that jeopardize the safety of vehicle drivers and road users.

The General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior released a statement detailing Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah's inspection visit to the Operations Department of the General Traffic Department in South Sabahiya. He was accompanied by Major General Yousef Al-Khadda, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs.

During the visit, Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah reviewed the operations in the Central Control Room, focusing on the role of traffic monitoring cameras in overseeing traffic flow on main roads and intersections, as well as the process of recording indirect violations.

Additionally, the Minister inspected the Central Control Operations Room and discussed the Ministry of Interior's plan to intensify security and traffic campaigns. This plan includes the expansion of checkpoints across various regions to enhance security control and apprehend violators.
