KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah has denied rumors circulating on social media about his absence from the country for medical treatment.
In a press statement issued on Friday following his visit to the Ministry of Interior's operations room, Sheikh Fahd Al-Sabah addressed the false claims. "My presence in the operations room and my field tours are a response to these rumors," he stated, emphasizing his commitment to continuing field visits and monitoring the progress of work within the ministry's sectors.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Sabah also announced that he would conduct a field visit to Failaka Island today to inspect the security situation there.
