KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, emphasized her commitment to supporting cultural initiatives that promote awareness of Kuwaiti heritage and creative crafts. This statement followed a meeting between Minister Al-Huwailah and Mohammad Kamal, the founder of the Expo 965 team for heritage and craft exhibitions, along with board members, to discuss strategies for enhancing heritage crafts in Kuwait and investing in them to strengthen national identity among younger generations.

Minister Al-Huwailah praised the team's efforts in preserving Kuwaiti heritage and showcasing the community's national craftsmanship. She highlighted that partnerships with specialized national teams are essential for achieving sustainable development goals related to heritage and culture and stressed the importance of continuing this collaborative approach to promote cultural awareness.

In turn, researcher Mohammad Kamal presented the team's key achievements in heritage crafts and outlined future projects they aim to implement. He emphasized the members' dedication to ongoing collaboration with the ministry to support Kuwaiti arts and crafts. (KUNA)
