KUWAIT, Oct 19: Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, along with Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy Dr. Mahmoud Boushehri, and Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources Eng. Nasser Taqi, conducted an inspection of Amiri Airport and the airport road to review preparations for the upcoming 45th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, set to take place in Kuwait this December.

After the inspection tour on Saturday, Minister Al-Mashaan stated in a press release that the Ministry of Public Works and the Roads Authority are in the final stages of completing maintenance work on both the airport road and Amiri Airport, ensuring all necessary preparations for the Gulf Summit are on track.

She emphasized the need to expedite the repair work on the roads leading to the airport, highlighting the importance of ensuring the safety and smooth traffic flow for the guests arriving for the 45th Gulf Summit. The minister also stressed the importance of completing all tasks quickly while maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to approved technical specifications, and keeping within the established timeline.
