Ministries call for removal of vehicles from road maintenance sites
Vehicle owners are warned that cars left at maintenance sites will be moved by authorities

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29: The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Public Works have called on citizens and residents to remove their vehicles from road maintenance sites in residential areas to facilitate major maintenance work and ensure its timely completion.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior announced that, in cooperation with the unified government electronic services app, "Sahel," notifications will be sent to citizens and residents with details about maintenance sites and relevant alerts. Additionally, flyers will be distributed to homes indicating the scheduled maintenance times, allowing residents to take the necessary steps to remove their vehicles promptly.

The Ministry emphasized that if vehicle owners fail to remove their cars from maintenance sites, the competent authorities will be required to lift and relocate the vehicles from these areas.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Works stressed the importance of monitoring notifications through the Sahel app and other official channels, as well as following the instructions of the relevant authorities for the benefit of all. The Ministry further added that everyone’s cooperation will help expedite the completion of infrastructure projects and improve traffic flow in areas impacted by the maintenance work.
