KUWAIT CITY, April 2: The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced that it may need to disconnect power to certain agricultural and industrial areas due to high electrical loads, along with ongoing maintenance work on some power generation units. These measures are being taken as part of preparations for the full operation of the units during the summer months. The planned power cuts aim to maintain the stability of the country’s electrical system.
The ministry has identified specific areas where power interruptions may occur. In the event of a power outage, the duration is expected to be no longer than three hours. The electrical loads are being closely monitored, and the Ministry appreciates the cooperation of its customers during this period of disruption.
