KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7:  The Ministry of Education's financial sector has successfully implemented a comprehensive transportation service across all schools for three full academic years, with a total investment of 30 million dinars.

The financial sector recently finalized a contract valued at 14 million dinars to provide buses in three distinct educational zones. These buses are anticipated to be operational starting this November. Furthermore, an additional contract worth 16 million dinars was signed at the beginning of the current school year to supply buses for three other educational regions, as well as religious institutes and special education schools, which have been in operation since last September.

The source highlighted that the financial sector has also concluded maintenance contracts covering all educational areas for a three-year duration. The contracted companies are commencing their maintenance work this month. Additionally, the engineering affairs departments are actively engaged in preparing a list of critical maintenance tasks for schools. The first priority is addressing roof insulation issues in preparation for the upcoming rainy season.
