19 new schools across Kuwait have been equipped ahead of the academic year.

KUWAIT CITY, July 17: In preparation for the next academic year, the Ministry of Education has equipped 19 new schools across various educational districts. This includes 8 schools in the Jahra Educational District, 4 in the Ahmadi Educational District, 3 in the Farwaniya Educational District, and 4 in the Capital Educational District.

Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, Matrouk Al-Mutairi, announced that the Ministry initiated an approved plan to furnish these schools starting in April, at the beginning of the fiscal year. The distribution of school furniture resumed last Sunday, and all necessary educational facilities are expected to be fully equipped in the coming days. This includes office furniture for teaching and administrative staff, as well as for students.

Al-Mutairi explained that the schools were identified, and their budgets were allocated in collaboration with the educational districts. Liaison officers were appointed to receive the school furniture from the Supplies and Warehouses Department. All preparations are expected to be completed within the next two weeks.
