KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Mansour Al-Dhafiri, has issued a decision to terminate the assignment of Ahmed Al-Wahida, the official spokesman for the Ministry. The announcement was made today, Tuesday, December 17, 2024. No further details regarding the reasons for the decision or a successor have been disclosed at this time. This move marks a notable administrative change within the Ministry as it continues to focus on enhancing its operations and addressing key educational priorities. Meanwhile, as part of preparations for the first semester exams for the 2024-2025 academic year, Mansour Al-Dhafiri, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for General Education, has issued directives to streamline examination processes for the 12th grade (scientific and literary sections), reports Al-Jarida daily.
The key measures include:
Exemption from Fingerprinting: Individuals assigned to examination committees outside schools are exempt from fingerprint attendance requirements.
Fingerprinting Limits: Staff assigned to examination committees for transfer classes in the intermediate stage and the tenth and eleventh grades will only be required to mark their attendance once during official working hours.
Prohibition on Late Entry: Students will not be allowed to enter examination committees after the specified start time for exams.
Cessation of Resident Supervisor System: The resident supervisor system in examination committees will be discontinued. Al-Dhafiri emphasized the need for educational region directors and the Department of Religious Education to enforce these measures effectively to ensure smooth and disciplined exam operations
