KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: The Ministry of Health confirmed that random field swabs are one of the most important preventive measures to combat the spread of infectious diseases such as meningitis, influenza, Corona viruses and pneumonia, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting health sources said the practice has been ongoing over the past years and have never been stopped for any reason whatsoever.

The ministry indicated that these swabs give the possibility of identifying the emergence of any infection at its inception, before it spreads and also provides an accurate estimate of the location and type of infection spread in society, and helps take appropriate action to address it, and is being applied in most advanced health systems around the world. The ministry pointed out that these swabs are optional and not mandatory, so you can refuse to take them if you are asked to do so.
