The Ministry of Health

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: The Ministry of Health has reiterated its directive for all employees to adhere to scheduled working hours to ensure the delivery of high-quality health services. An administrative circular issued by the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry outlines the official working hours: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for male employees and 7 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. for female employees. The circular specifies that delays will be calculated starting from the end of a thirty-minute grace period for attendance.

The circular, addressed to Assistant Undersecretaries, Directors of Health Regions, Directors of Central Departments, and Heads of Medical Bodies, emphasizes the importance of adhering to these working hours. It stresses that medical, technical, and administrative staff must comply with these hours to ensure effective health service delivery. Additionally, outpatient clinic operations at hospitals and specialized medical centers will commence at 7:30 a.m., and staff are urged to strictly follow these guidelines.

In a separate development, Al-Oyoun Health Center has announced the transfer of patients for laboratory tests to Al-Qasr Health Center due to a technical issue with the automated system at Al-Oyoun. Residents of Al-Naseem and Al-Waha areas will also be redirected to Al-Jahra Health Center (Medical Complex) for laboratory tests.
