Dr. Nasser Muhaisen

KUWAIT CITY, July 31: In commemoration of the anniversary of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, the Ministry of Information has prepared a series of special documentary programs for broadcast on August 2. This initiative was announced by Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday.

The programs, which will air on both television and radio, are a response to directives from Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. Dr. Muhaisen highlighted that these broadcasts are intended to document the pivotal events of the invasion and honor the heroic efforts of the Kuwaiti people.

"This national commitment aims to ensure that the valor of our people remains a guiding light for future generations," Dr. Muhaisen stated. "We want our children and all future generations to remember the sacrifices made to keep our homeland free and proud."

Dr. Muhaisen emphasized the Ministry's recognition of the media's crucial role in preserving national memory and promoting values. He noted that the programs will provide reliable, objective, and credible information about the historical events that shaped Kuwait's modern history.

The documentaries are part of a broader effort by the Ministry to uphold Kuwait's legacy and ensure that the heroism of the Kuwaiti people during the invasion is both remembered and celebrated.
