KUWAIT, Nov 13: On Wednesday, the Ministry of Information launched the official visual identity of the State of Kuwait, which includes all related elements and files, along with a comprehensive guide outlining the key components of the nation’s visual identity. The two main elements highlighted are the state emblem and the national blue color.
In a press statement, the ministry explained that the guide emphasizes the cultural significance of the State of Kuwait’s official emblem, which represents the nation’s history and identity. It also outlines the proper usage of the emblem to maintain its value and ensure its correct application.
The guide includes detailed instructions on how to use the emblem, its colors, directions, and properties. These guidelines must be followed for digital or printed applications, as well as other media materials, to maintain consistency and clarity in the visual identity.
The ministry revealed that it enlisted the expertise of Kuwaiti designer Mohammed Sharaf to plan and create the logo. The official design was carefully crafted to preserve the original elements, such as the dhow ship and the falcon, while ensuring that the logo is suitable for smooth use across all current and future media platforms. The guide provides specific instructions on how to use the logo in its three forms: the single badge, the official state logo, and the ministries' logo.
This initiative, which was approved by the Council of Ministers, also included distributing the logo and its guidelines to all state agencies. The official logo and visual identity instructions have been made available on the ministry's website for public use. (KUNA)
