Ministry of Interior carries out large-scale security and traffic campaign in Jaber Al-Ahmad

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: In a bid to strengthen security and maintain public order, the Ministry of Interior executed a large-scale security and traffic campaign in the city of Jaber Al-Ahmad on Friday, December 6, 2024. The operation was carried out under the guidance of His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior.

The campaign saw the participation of multiple sectors within the Ministry of Interior, including the General Security Sector, the Traffic and Operations Sector, the Private Security Sector, and the Women’s Police.

The results of the operation were significant, with law enforcement officials taking the following actions:

- Issued 1,638 traffic violations

- Arrested 3 individuals for violating residency and labor laws

- Detained 7 individuals with outstanding warrants

- Took 2 individuals into custody for absenteeism

- Arrested 3 individuals for not carrying identification

- Referred 3 individuals to traffic detention and 4 individuals to juvenile investigations

- Seized 3 stolen vehicles

- Impounded 8 vehicles for various traffic violations

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that such campaigns are part of a broader strategy aimed at reinforcing security measures, apprehending violators, and maintaining a safe and stable environment across Kuwait. These efforts will continue to ensure public order is upheld and violators are held accountable.
