Ministry of Interior launches comprehensive security operation in Jahra

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: In a continued effort to tackle violations of the law, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has launched a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in Jahra Governorate. This operation, conducted under the direct supervision of His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, aimed to apprehend violators, criminals, and those breaching residency laws.

Various sectors participated in the campaign, including the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Rescue Police, the Public Security Sector, the General Department of Special Security Forces, and the Women's Police.

The operation resulted in significant enforcement actions, including the issuance of 2,089 traffic violations. Authorities arrested 9 individuals lacking identification, apprehended 14 violators of residency and labor laws, and identified 19 wanted vehicles. Additionally, 9 individuals were sought for absenteeism, and 12 individuals with outstanding arrest warrants were taken into custody. The campaign also led to the seizure of a vehicle, the arrest of 6 drug offenders, and the detainment of 4 individuals exhibiting abnormal behavior. One wanted individual was referred to the Criminal Enforcement Department, and 4 minors were sent to Juvenile Investigations.

The Ministry of Interior stated that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and maintain order across the country, reaffirming its commitment to apprehending violators and ensuring public safety.
