KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19:  The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior launched its official news channel on WhatsApp on Saturday. Nasser Bouslaib, Director General of the Public Relations and Security Media Department, informed Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this initiative aligns with the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to enhance the services provided by the security institution.

Bouslaib emphasized that this step reflects the Ministry's commitment to staying updated with modern communication methods to efficiently deliver news to both citizens and residents. He also noted that the initiative is part of the Security Media Department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its communication with print, audio, and visual media, as well as social media platforms. The goal is to ensure the security message reaches all segments of society, providing awareness, guidance, and reliable information directly from official sources.
