Ministry of Interior Seizes Vehicles, Arrests Violators in Al-Raqqa

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: Under the directives of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior carried out a large-scale security and traffic campaign in the Al-Raqqa area on Friday, February 7, 2025. The operation involved various specialized sectors, including the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Private Security Sector, to enhance public safety and enforce the law.

Key Outcomes of the Campaign

The campaign resulted in the following actions:

1,243 traffic violations were issued.
Three individuals were arrested for lacking identification documents.
Eight individuals were detained for violating residency and labor laws.
Ten individuals wanted in connection with legal cases were apprehended.
One individual was arrested for being in an abnormal condition.
One person was caught in possession of alcoholic beverages.
One individual was arrested following a report of absence filed against them.
One individual was detained for driving without a valid license.
Six vehicles wanted in connection with legal cases were seized.
One individual was referred to the traffic police for further action.
Ten vehicles and motorcycles violating traffic laws were confiscated.

Ongoing Efforts to Strengthen Security

The Ministry of Interior has reaffirmed its commitment to conducting continuous security and traffic enforcement operations across the country. These efforts aim to apprehend lawbreakers, individuals with outstanding judicial rulings, violators of residency and labor laws, wanted criminals, and any persons posing a threat to public order.

The Ministry urges the public to cooperate with security forces and report any violations or illegal activities by contacting the emergency hotline (112).
