Ministry of Justice introduces innovative 'Certificate of Opposition or Appeal' service via the 'Sahel' app.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 4: To enhance accessibility and streamline services for the public, Hashim Al-Qallaf, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, has announced the launch of a new service through the "Sahel" application.

The newly introduced "Certificate of Opposition or Appeal" service aims to simplify the process for public customers. It enables individuals to obtain an extract from a certificate of opposition or appeal, which was previously submitted, facilitating the submission of necessary documentation to relevant authorities to lift transaction restrictions.

Al-Qallaf emphasized the significance of this service in providing citizens with a more efficient and user-friendly experience. The service addresses the need for quick access to relevant legal documents and aims to expedite the resolution of transaction-related matters.

Highlighting the demand for such services, the Attorney General presented statistics for the year 2023. According to these figures, the number of requests for certificates has reached a substantial 530,000, averaging at 1,600 certificates requested per day. This underscores the importance of initiatives like the "Certificate of Opposition or Appeal" service in meeting the growing demand for legal documentation and ensuring a smoother administrative process for the public.
