KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan announced the commencement of major maintenance work on roads in the Al-Mangaf area on Monday. This follows an inspection by the relevant teams to assess the necessary repairs and maintenance.

In a press statement, Minister Al-Mashaan explained that the road maintenance efforts would begin with the most affected areas and proceed to the less impacted sections. She emphasized that road maintenance and repairs are a top priority for the country's political leadership, which supports road improvement projects to help achieve an advanced infrastructure as part of the "New Kuwait 2035" vision.

The minister stressed the importance of implementing the maintenance work with quality and efficiency, in accordance with the approved technical specifications, and within the agreed-upon timetable. She also noted that the ministry's teams will closely monitor and supervise the work to ensure its successful completion.

Engineer Abdullah Al-Kandari, in a similar statement, mentioned that the maintenance work would include cleaning the sewage network prior to the surveying and asphalt tasks. He urged the residents of Al-Mangaf to cooperate with the concerned authorities, as some roads in the area will be closed during the maintenance period.
