KUWAIT CITY, April 19: The Ministry of Social Affairs, through its Charitable Societies and Endowments Department, has issued a directive to the boards of directors of all registered charitable societies and endowments, instructing them to suspend all electronic links related to fundraising campaigns and projects. This includes links hosted on official websites as well as those shared through social media platforms.
The ministry warned that any organization found in violation of this directive will face legal accountability.
The decision, issued under the guidance of the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, aims to safeguard the public interest and ensure proper regulation of charitable activities.
