KUWAIT CITY, July 28: The roads in Kuwait have become increasingly dangerous due to the exacerbation of minors driving without licenses. In July alone, traffic police apprehended 183 minors who were driving vehicles without licenses - an average of 6 minors per day. All of these cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

According to the weekly statistics, the number of minors arrested in just the last seven days during the intensive campaigns held by the Operations Department was. This is a large number considering the short period.

Minors driving without licenses is a “time bomb” that could explode at any moment, putting road users at risk of fatal accidents and serious injuries. The statistics also revealed that the number of detainees during the first week of July was about 17 minors, followed by 14 minors in the second week. The phenomenon index rose in the third week to 69 minors and reached its peak in the fourth and final week of the month, recording the arrest of 83 minors
