KUWAIT CITY, Jan 17: The newly appointed Croatian coach of Al-Salmiya, Ante Misha, expressed his commitment to giving his best efforts to lead "Al-Samaya to optimal results. Misha, who recently assumed the coaching role, succeeding Mohammed Al-Mashaan, arrived in Kuwait two days ago and conducted his first training session with the team. He emphasized his familiarity with the squad and the Kuwaiti football scene, particularly the three prominent teams: Al-Kuwait, Al-Arabi, and Al-Qadisiya.

During a media statement, Misha conveyed his happiness at returning to work in Kuwait, emphasizing his dedication to collaborating with the Salmiya players to achieve positive outcomes, starting with the upcoming Amir Cup matches. Al Salmiya is scheduled to face Khaitan in the preliminary round on January 28.

While refraining from making grand promises at this early stage, Misha expressed his hopes for success in both league and Amir Cup matches. He acknowledged the team's recent exit from the Crown Prince Cup and emphasized his focus on securing victories moving forward.

Regarding speculations about negotiations with Al-Qadisiya or any other team, Misha declined to comment, clarifying that his presence in Kuwait is solely in his capacity as the coach of Al-Salmiya.
