KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Ahmadi security men, referred two expatriates working in a mobile grocery shop to the General Department for Combating Drugs. Attached to the referral file were a variety of narcotic substances (shabu, hashish, and pills), and an amount exceeding 1,000 dinars, the proceeds of the sale. According to a security source, a security patrol, during a tour on the expressway, was surprised by two expatriates running from the grocery store as soon as they saw the patrol. They were pursued on foot, as the initial belief was that they were violators of residency. During the chase, one of them threw a small bag after it was seized by the two security officers. Upon searching it, various drugs and a sum of money were found inside, which the two accused admitted was the proceeds of selling drugs to people who frequented the grocery store.
