In another development, the ministry called for participation in awareness workshops that will be held under the auspices of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing via Zoom every Wednesday, starting from Oct 30 at 11:00 am. It pointed out that this campaign is in line with its commitment to raise public awareness and ensure compliance with the standards of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for activities covered by anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism regulations.
