KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi emphasized the ministry's commitment to celebrating Kuwait’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day, reinforcing the values of loyalty and patriotism. He highlighted the ministry’s efforts to enhance the country's status during a statement made to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday, following the conclusion of the ministry’s celebration activities at its headquarters.
The event, held under the theme "Pride and Honour," marked Kuwait’s national holidays and saw participation from various state ministries and different sectors of the Ministry of Health. Dr. Al-Awadhi noted that the anniversary serves as an inspiring reminder for Kuwaitis to build a bright future for the country, following the example set by the nation's forefathers and their vision in establishing the state.
During the closing ceremony, Minister Al-Awadhi toured an exhibition, reflecting on how the country's history instills valuable lessons in national unity and progress under its wise leadership.
In a similar statement, Mohammad Al-Azmi, Director of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Health, shared that the ministry organized eight national celebrations across various health regions, following Minister Al-Awadhi’s directives. These activities aimed to strengthen the national spirit and promote values of citizenship among health sector workers.
Al-Azmi further mentioned that the closing event featured 280 pavilions from health regions and the ministry's different sectors, alongside participation from several government agencies and national institutions, including the Ministries of Interior, Defense, and Education, the General Fire Force, Kuwait University, Kuwait Airways, and other supporting entities.
