MoI calls for caution and responsibility as spring camping season begins

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: As the spring camping season kicks off, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued a set of safety guidelines to ensure a “safe season.” The advice includes practicing safe driving, wearing seat belts, and avoiding dangerous violations while traveling to camps or "kashta" sites.

The Ministry urged campers to stay clear of military zones, oil installations, and high-voltage electricity poles. Additionally, it advised against allowing children to drive "buggies" and cautioned against the use of fireworks.

The Ministry also emphasized the importance of adhering to public morals and respecting others' freedoms. It urged individuals to maintain civility and ensure public cleanliness throughout the season.

In case of emergencies or for assistance, the Ministry encouraged calling 112 or visiting the nearest security point and cooperating with security personnel.
