MoI conducts comprehensive security and traffic campaign in Salmiya

KUWAIT CITY,  Dec 14: On Friday, Dec 13, the Ministry of Interior carried out a thorough security and traffic campaign in the Salmiya area, under the direct supervision of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. The campaign saw active participation from the Traffic and Operations Sector, as well as the Private Security Sector.

The operation resulted in significant enforcement actions, including:

A total of 2,736 traffic violations issued.

Seven individuals were arrested for being wanted due to absences.

Two individuals were detained for failing to carry identification, and one person arrested for not possessing a driver's license.

Ten individuals were apprehended based on outstanding arrest warrants.

Eleven individuals arrested for violating residency and labor laws.

Twenty-eight vehicles seized due to legal requirements.

Five motorcycles were confiscated for legal reasons.

Ten vehicles and motorcycles were impounded for various violations.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated that such campaigns are part of a broader strategy to strengthen security, enforce regulations, and maintain public order, ensuring a safe and stable environment across the country.
