KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: In light of Bashar Al-Assad’s downfall and the ongoing events in Syria, the Ministry of Interior says it will take strong action against any expatriate who participates in festive marches or gatherings under any guise that could lead to traffic disruptions, moral violations, or public obstructions, affirming that such violations could result in administrative deportation. The ministry urged the public to cooperate with security services and expressed confidence in their commitment to upholding public order and ensuring the safety and security of society.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior denied rumors circulating about the suspension of the withdrawal of citizenship under Article 8 of the Nationality Law in certain cases. These rumors that circulated on social media suggested that the withdrawal of citizenship from the wives of Kuwaiti citizens, in accordance with Article 8, had been stopped. The ministry called on the public to verify the accuracy of such claims and urged them to rely on official sources for information before sharing any news.
