KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: Under the direction of the Deputy Attorney General, the case involving the burning of a child's hand has been classified as a felony. An immediate arrest and investigation of the defendant have been ordered.
According to a security source, a woman reported to the Sulaibiya police station, presenting a medical report for her 4-year-old daughter. She claimed that her daughter was burned by her ex-husband’s brother who is a Bedoun. The woman explained that her daughter had been staying at her grandmother’s house in the Sulaibiya area. Upon returning home, she noticed signs of assault and burns on the child’s body. She then took the child to Jahra Hospital to document the injuries. The accused is currently being summoned for investigation.
