KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: On Friday, the Kuwait Municipality refuted recent news reports suggesting that municipal law would be amended to permit entry into private residences without consent.
The Municipality clarified that certain news outlets had misrepresented a television interview with Director General Saud Al-Dabbous by selectively editing his statements.
The Municipality emphasized that it will take appropriate actions and report those responsible for publishing the misrepresented statements to the relevant authorities for breaching professional standards.
