KUWAIT CITY, April 10: The Municipality's Public Relations Department has announced that the Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services at the Hawalli Governorate branch has carried out inspection tours to ensure that markets and shops comply with municipal regulations and conditions.

Mohammed Al-Subaie, Director of the Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services in Hawalli Governorate, stated that the field inspections targeted commercial establishments and advertisements. These efforts led to the inspection of 50 shops and the issuance of 28 violations. The violations included failing to renew advertisement licenses, maintaining advertisements properly, and placing or adding promotional advertisements without obtaining the required licenses.

Al-Subaie urged shop owners and commercial establishments to verify the validity of all licenses related to their businesses and advertisements. He emphasized the importance of compliance, particularly in light of newly issued advertisement regulations that impose stricter penalties and higher fines for violators. These measures aim to prevent violations and safeguard the public interest.
