KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: The Bachelors Committee team from the Kuwait Municipality, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, has cut power supply to 12 illegal properties inhabited by single men in the Al- Firdous area. This enforcement followed a series of legal procedures, which included marking the violating properties to inform the occupants and owners of the legal issues by placing stickers on these properties enumerating the violations. This is in addition to formal reports that were prepared against property owners for allowing bachelors to reside in the so-called ‘model’ areas. The municipality aims to limit the spread of bachelors living in private residential neighborhoods, addressing concerns about community safety and neighborhood integrity.
