Municipality to clear abandoned vehicles, and unlicensed vending carts around 'Gulf Cup 26' stadiums

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 4: The Director of the Public Relations Department and official spokesperson for Kuwait Municipality, Muhammad Sandan, announced that cleaning teams have started their field preparations in coordination with relevant government agencies for the State of Kuwait's hosting of the Gulf Cup Football Championship "Gulf 26." The tournament is set to take place from December 21 to January 3.

In a press statement, Sandan explained that the teams will implement an integrated plan focused on cleaning areas around the Jaber Al-Ahmad and Jaber Al-Mubarak international stadiums, which will host the tournament matches, as well as the nine sports club stadiums designated for team training.

He emphasized that inspection teams will promptly remove abandoned vehicles and trucks from the external parking lots of both training and match stadiums. Additionally, mobile vending carts will be prohibited from operating in unlicensed areas around the stadiums and external parking lots to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.
