KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: As part of the ongoing efforts by the Public Security Sector to enforce security measures and apprehend violators and lawbreakers, the recent activities of the security directorates across the country’s governorates have yielded significant results. Authorities arrested several visa violators, responded to 2,771 reports, and established 565 checkpoints.
These efforts led to the issuance of 12,219 traffic violations, the arrest of 404 individuals, including 192 residency law violators, and the seizure of 41 vehicles. Additionally, 947 instances of assistance were provided, 1,152 traffic accidents were managed, and 114 individuals were arrested for possession of narcotic substances, psychotropic drugs, and alcohol.
