Nayef Al-Osaimi confident in Kuwait’s tent pegging medal prospects

MUSCAT, April 9: Nayef Al-Osaimi, member of the Kuwaiti Equestrian, Tenting, and Shooting Committee and head of Kuwait’s delegation to the 3rd Gulf Beach Games, affirmed the Kuwaiti Tent Pegging Team’s determination to achieve results that reflect the prestige of Kuwaiti sports.

Al-Osaimi expressed his optimism that the tent pegging competitions across all categories would see standout performances from Kuwaiti riders showcasing high levels of technical skill.

He noted that the three-day tent pegging events began Tuesday, featuring the javelin discipline in individual, doubles, and team formats.

The competitions conclude with the javelin and saber relay events. Al-Osaimi stated that the Kuwaiti national team includes five riders: Hussein Al-Ajmi, Abdullah Al-Hindi, Ibrahim Al-Enezi, Abdullah Al-Daihani, and Ghanem Al-Ajmi, along with head coach Rashid Al-Marri and assistant coach Ali Al-Bin Ali.
