New Biometric Service for Bedridden and Special Needs Individuals Launched

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 2: To improve community services provided by the Ministry of Interior and to simplify the process of taking biometric fingerprints for bedridden individuals and people with special needs—particularly those bedridden and with mental disabilities—the MOI has introduced a new system. This initiative ensures that these individuals have access to essential government services.

Recognizing the growing demand for biometric fingerprinting among bedridden individuals and those with special needs, the department has designated specific contact numbers for each governorate. People requiring this service can now upload documents verifying their condition via the "WhatsApp" application. Following this, they will be contacted to schedule an appointment for biometric fingerprinting, making the process more accessible and convenient for those in need.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior has introduced dedicated contact numbers for each governorate, allowing individuals to request biometric fingerprinting services by submitting their health status documents via WhatsApp. After submission, they will be contacted to schedule an appointment for the fingerprinting process.
