Bid to encourage private sector to implement gigantic oil enterprises KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3: As part of plan to encourage the participation of private sector in the implementation of gigantic oil enterprises in Kuwait, a source from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) disclosed a new initiative to pre-qualify and award long-term contracts worth $40 million to private companies to manage catalyzed substance in the company’s refineries, reports Al-Anba daily . The same source added the winning company will establish a new Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Kuwait to manage all sorts of catalyzed substance, emissions, as well as recovery and disposal of waste in line with Kuwait Environment Protection Agency regulations.
