Al-Mubarakiya Kuwait City

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef emphasized the government's commitment to preserving historical and heritage sites, in line with the directives of His Highness the Amir. He noted that many visitors to Kuwait frequent Mubarakiya, and His Highness has encouraged the government and local governors to establish Mubarakiya sites in Jahra and Ahmadi. Al-Yousef expressed hope that these plans would come to fruition soon.

This statement was made during Al-Yousef's visit to the Red Palace on Friday evening, where he was accompanied by Jahra Governor Jassem Al-Habashi. They attended activities held at the palace as part of the national celebrations, which drew a large crowd of residents.

When asked about upcoming projects related to the celebrations of Kuwait as the Arab Capital of Culture 2025, Al-Yousef replied, “God willing, you will see more than you can imagine, but it will take some time.”
