KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: The Public Authority for Sports announced the signing of a contract in partnership with the Gulf Football Federation and L'Oreal International Management, a company specializing in gate systems, electronic ticketing, and sports event organization. The Authority explained that this partnership aims to enhance the ticket reservation and electronic gate systems at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium and Sulaibikhat Club Stadium, ensuring a smooth process for fans entering and finding their designated seats during the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Championship (Gulf 26). This initiative is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to improve stadium services and enhance the fan experience.

The contract with L'Oreal, known for its extensive experience in organizing major events like the 2022 World Cup, Asian Cup, Gulf Cup, and Arab Cup in Qatar, covers several key areas to ensure a seamless experience for fans. These include managing crowd flow and seat allocations, as well as dividing audience sections into sectors for better organization. Additionally, the agreement includes the creation of an online ticketing platform, enabling fans to easily book and purchase tickets, with details of their seats available online. Paper ticket printing and mobile payment options will also be offered for added convenience and flexibility.

The contract outlines the installation of 165 fixed ticket readers, along with manual readers to ensure efficient and fast entry across both stadiums. Furthermore, 62 new gates will be installed: 24 single gates and 38 double gates, aimed at improving fan flow and reducing wait times. Specifically, Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium will receive 26 new gates, including 20 double gates for general admission (bringing the total to 100 public gates), three gates for the VIP area, and three for the skybox area. Meanwhile, Al-Sulaibikhat Club Stadium will have 36 new gates, consisting of 18 single and 18 double gates, increasing the total number to 54 public gates. The contract also includes ongoing maintenance and technical support for all systems and devices, ensuring continuous high-level performance.
