KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: The Ministry of Health has inaugurated the “Tatman Clinic,” the third voluntary testing and counseling facility, located at the Fahaheel Health Center. This initiative is part of the Ministry's commitment to broaden health services, enhance HIV prevention, and combat sexually transmitted diseases.

Dr. Fahad Al-Ghamlas, the Director of the Public Health Department at the Ministry, explained that the Voluntary Testing and Counseling Clinic offers various health services. These include pre-test counseling, comprehensive information on HIV and sexually transmitted diseases, identification of potential risk factors, and rapid HIV testing. Additionally, individuals can be tested for other diseases, such as hepatitis, syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea.

Tatman Clinics also distribute educational materials and media resources to promote health awareness. Furthermore, they provide a confidential hotline for answering questions and inquiries, ensuring complete privacy. The clinics are accredited by international medical organizations.
