KUWAIT CITY, June 1: The Ministry of Health, represented by its official spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced the launch of the "Travelers’ Health" service, which will be available at six clinics across various governorates starting tomorrow, Sunday. The service, provided by specialists in public health and preventive medicine, will continue to be available throughout the year at the Public Health Department in Shuwaikh.

In a press statement today, Dr. Al-Sanad detailed the designated clinics for the "Travelers’ Health" service as follows:

  • Farwaniya Governorate: Al-Raqi Health Center, available on Sundays and Thursdays.
  • Jahra Governorate: Al-Oyoun Health Center, available on Sundays and Wednesdays.
  • Hawalli Governorate: Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, available on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Capital Governorate: Abdul Rahman Abdul-Mughni Center in Al-Fayhaa.
  • Al-Ahmadi Governorate: Al-Ahmadi Health Center, available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate: Al-Zahraa Health Center.

Dr. Al-Sanad mentioned that these clinics will operate during the morning period within official working hours. The "Travelers’ Health" service will also be continuously available throughout the year at the main clinic in the Public Health Department in Shuwaikh, regardless of weekdays.

The services provided by these clinics include pre-travel and post-return health advice, information on widespread diseases, safety and health prevention tips during travel, necessary vaccinations to prevent infectious diseases based on travel destinations, and preventive medications such as those for malaria.

This initiative underscores the Ministry's commitment to ensuring the health and safety of travelers, providing them with comprehensive health services and preventive measures before, during, and after their journeys.
