KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: Yousef Kazim, the official spokesperson for the unified government electronic services application "Sahel," announced on Friday the launch of a new update designed to enhance the user experience. The update includes new features and improvements focused on ease of use, speed, and security, as well as support for the English language.
Kazim stated in a press release that the new update, now available through digital stores, offers a completely redesigned login interface, providing users with a smoother and more efficient experience. This update improves the application's performance and simplifies user interaction. He also highlighted the addition of a dedicated alert box at the top of the "Data" list, allowing users to view expired data directly, without the need to search through other lists. This feature helps reduce errors and makes it easier for individuals to track their data.
Additionally, the update introduces an advanced notification system. A dedicated page at the bottom of the screen now displays notifications, with each one color-coded based on its importance. This helps users quickly identify new updates and essential services. The update also includes a "Favorite Notifications" feature, which enables users to save important notifications in a special list, making it easier to reference them without searching through past notifications.
Kazim explained that the new version of the app also provides direct access to contact information for government agencies registered within the application. This information is now included in the "Settings" menu for easy access and communication with relevant authorities.
He emphasized the importance of reactivating account protection after updating the app to ensure data security and prevent potential breaches. Users can activate this protection by navigating to the "Settings" menu, selecting "Protection Options," and reactivating it.
Kazim encouraged all users to update the "Sahel" app through digital stores to benefit from these new improvements, which aim to provide a more advanced and user-friendly experience, in line with the latest digital technologies for delivering electronic government services.
