KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, accompanied by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace on Monday. The Prime Minister presented the newly-appointed ministers, who took the constitutional oath following their appointments.

Among them were Khalifa Abdullah Dhahi Ajeel Al-Askar as Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullatif Hamed Hamad Al-Meshari as Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Nader Abdullah Mohammad Al-Jallal as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Education, and Nora Suleiman Al-Fassam as Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs.

His Highness the Amir provided guidance on the importance of cooperation, prioritizing national interests, and enhancing government performance to meet the aspirations of the people.

His Highness the Amir wished the ministers success in their roles, while His Highness the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the Amir's trust and directives.

Senior state officials were also present at the ceremony.  (KUNA)
