KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: While several European countries urgently took measures to avoid the second wave of coronavirus and some airports are on the verge of closure, there has been no change in the first phase of the operating plan for resumption of commercial flights at Kuwait International Airport, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a reliable source.
According to the source, the commercial operation rate in the first phase of the plan reached 30 percent – a total of 100 arrival and departure flights per day.
This plan will continue until Jan 31, 2021 unless the health authorities receive new instructions. The airport authorities are committed to all recommendations and decisions issued by the Ministry of Health, the source disclosed. The source said the number of flights to and from Europe is 80 per day – 40 departures and 40 arrivals
