RIYADH, Jan 25: There will be no limits for spectators' attendance of the Saudi-Omani soccer match due in Jeddah on Thursday, the Saudi Sports Ministry declared on Tuesday. The soccer fans' presence by 100 percent will be exclusive for the Thursday match, to be held as part of the seventh round of the Asian finals for qualifying to 2022 world cup scheduled in Qatar, the ministry said in a statement, noting that the decision had been approved by the local health authorities for follow-up on the coronavirus.

However, authorities will allow into the stadium only those who have been vaccinated against covid-19 starting from the age of five, it said indicating that personnel will ensure this by examining the application "tawakalna." Moreover, the ministry stressed that incoming fans must adhere to standard precautions namely wearing protective masks, indicating that violators would be penalized. (KUNA)
