No to telecom towers on private housing property

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: The Kuwait Municipality issued warnings to 34 private housing properties and citations to 12 others for violating regulations by placing communication towers on their rooftops. The municipality affirmed that the warnings were ignored, adding that any encroachments on state property related to communication towers are immediately removed by the supervisory body within the Violation Removal Department. In response to a question from the Municipal Council member Walid Al-Dagher regarding the potential health risks posed by the proximity of communication towers to residential areas, the municipality advised him to coordinate with the Ministry of Health for further information.
