KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: While a number of hygiene inspectors in the municipality’s branches have called for a sit-in to protest their transfer from their work centers to new places, Al-Rai learned from its sources in the Kuwait Municipality that the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Rana Al-Faris, said decision is in line with the work requirements, while finding a solution to the inspectors’ demands in line with the decisions of the Civil Service Commission.

The sources confirmed that the decision is issued to reorganize the work mechanism, especially that the transfer decisions will be with the same job title and job grade they occupy, noting that the decision also includes stopping the disbursement of remote areas allowance for everyone who receives it, in order to change work centers.
